Do you want to allow the Kansas Legislature to continue its’ legacy of gridlock? We can no longer sit back and expect the state legislature to change without a new perspective coming out of the 43rd District. We need leadership that is not delusional in the belief that there is only one way to approach things in Topeka.

According to my opponent‘s reflections of meeting the President, “Reflecting on his current lack of popularity, one wonders why it should be so. Domestically the Bush tax cut has given us six years of unprecedented prosperity, job growth, low inflation, a record stock market and a growing economy. Add the drug benefit for Medicare recipients, No Child Left Behind and the first effort by any administration to control illegal immigration, why should Americans be unhappy?”

Let me answer that one…The record stock market is now in, what many economists are calling, a recession, personal investment is down, energy costs are rising, fuel costs are skyrocketing, mortgage foreclosures are up, and the unemployment rate is rising.

All of the issues facing our district and Kansas in the upcoming election are a big deal. We need leadership that understands the communities, the issues and the people. As a native of this district, I have a vested interest in the success of its people, its businesses, and communities. I will offer new leadership and a new perspective in Topeka and bring an end to the politics of “gridlock promised… gridlock delivered”. I cannot begin to bring a positive vision for Kansas to Topeka without you, so I ask that you stand with me and help make Kansas a better place for everyone.

Message to the People of the Kansas 43rd District!

You are hardworking, caring, and genuine. It is for that reason I want to be your State Representative. It is often said that nothing can get done in Topeka because of the deep divisions between the two parties. It is time that we stood up and said, "Enough is enough". Ideology should never stand in the way of doing what is right for our people. As long as representatives are willing to work together, focus on the common good, and not practice the politics of division, then the legislature can accomplish many great things.  I believe that the 43rd District can continue its unprecedented growth and prosperity while respecting individual's rights and liberties. I want people in Topeka to notice the great things that we can achieve in the 43rd by working together. I want to bring together Independents, Republicans, and Democrats that believe that our district's best days are ahead of us, who are willing to work for what is right, and ready to fight for the things that benefit everyone.
